What impact you’ll make: As a leader within the Power DT Engineering organization, you will shape the future of the Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided-Manufacturing (CAM) software landscape by leading the vision, strategy, and execution of our application portfolio. As a key partner to Engineering and Manufacturing leadership, you will drive simplification, innovation and seamless integration of the pillar applications across global engineering and manufacturing stakeholders and sites. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead transformation initiatives, influence the future of Engineering and Manufacturing across the Power Segment within GE Vernova, and work at the intersection of technology, business, and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), with significant years of IT professional experience, or equivalent knowledge or experience .
  • Proven experience in delivering cross-functional transformation programs

  • Understanding of the overall engineering & manufacturing business domain.
  • Understanding of latest CAD/CAM (NX) software solutions
  • Experience in successful delivery of cross-functional transformation programs.
  • Highly effective communicator with experience in presenting and interacting with leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management inclusive of varied and complex stakeholder needs, collaborative and innovative vendor partner relationships, and influencing change across matrixed organizations.
  • Expertise with Lean and SAFe /Agile.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and tools used for effective team and work management.
  • Ability to deconstruct problems and make decisions when problems or solutions are ambiguous.
  • Uses critical thinking skills and organizational skills to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions.
  • Self-Driven, autonomous, and can proactively identify and remove obstacles for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing leadership to define and execute the Model Based Enterprise vision and strategy, aligning with overall business goals and customer needs.
  • Lead the CAD/CAM application portfolio and own the roadmap, ensuring alignment with technology and business priorities.
  • Track program execution status, metrics, and milestones; ensure delivery commitments from internal and external partners are met.
  • Track and optimize CAD/CAM license usage and cost
  • Present leadership updates to GEV executive sponsors and leadership clearly articulating progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define future technology innovation enabled by AI and architecture for products and services.
  • Manage the relationship with our CAD/CAM (NX) software vendor ensuring strategic alignment and value delivery.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Proactively communicate requirements, timelines, and stakeholder needs to resolve conflicting priorities and drive consensus .
