Sr Staff / Principal Electrical Engineer

PROCEPT BioRobotics•San Jose, CA
•$194,920 - $229,320•Onsite

About The Position

We are looking for just the right seasoned electrical engineer to join our talented and highly collaborative team. You are skilled in analog design and power electronics, enjoy getting your hands on PCBAs in the lab, and are equally comfortable improving an existing design or developing something from scratch. You thrive on technical challenges and have excellent attention to detail. You’re just as comfortable presenting a schematic and layout review to a cross functional group as you are developing new error codes with your firmware neighbor, reviewing in-circuit test limits for a PCBA, or running a temperature study. You understand that documentation and processes come with the territory in a highly regulated medical device environment. You are the one others turn to for technical guidance, whether it’s making tough design decisions, mentoring a fellow engineer, or helping the team through a challenging problem. While you are solving interesting engineering problems alongside a great team, your work can make a real difference in people’s lives!
