We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to our Senior Network Manager and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience implementing and supporting large enterprise networks.
  • Strong hands-on experience and knowledge of wired and wireless LAN, SD‑WAN, WAN optimization, firewalls, VPNs, and data center networking
  • Experience defining operational standards, documentation, and network processes.
  • Solid knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), LAN Switching (STP, REP), Security (IPSec, MACSec)
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, IDS/IPS and VPN design, implementation and administration
  • Experience with Zscaler implementations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and support multiple initiatives.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on OT network environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support wired and wireless LAN, SD‑WAN, IPAM, and WAN solutions from major vendors across corporate, manufacturing, and field environments.
  • Operate and maintain network infrastructure from major vendors, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement and support secure network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, policy management, and network segmentation.
  • Support data center networking and connectivity to cloud and customer environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, participate in incident response, and support root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to network standards, documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with security, IT, manufacturing, and operations teams to deliver business initiatives.
  • Assist with hardware and software lifecycle management, upgrades, and refresh projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of network assets, configurations, and system downtime.
