Sr. Staff Engineer

Polymarket

About The Position

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling individuals to trade on outcomes across various real-world events. As a peer-to-peer marketplace, it aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities. The company is experiencing rapid growth in both volume and adoption, aiming to become a ubiquitous source of truth in global media. The Growth Engineering team at Polymarket is responsible for how users discover the platform, engage with it, and return. This includes managing analytics infrastructure, martech integrations, experimentation frameworks, and full-stack features that drive conversion and activation. The team operates as a small, high-output unit focused on technical challenges with significant impact. This role is for a Sr. Staff Engineer who will serve as the technical cornerstone of the Growth Engineering team. The individual will be responsible for architectural decisions impacting team measurement and delivery, building and maintaining essential data pipelines, establishing standards for experiment design and evaluation, and independently shipping end-to-end full-stack features. This is a hands-on coding role, not a management position, requiring daily code contributions. The need for this role stems from Polymarket's accelerating growth, necessitating scalable infrastructure. The successful candidate will have significant influence over technical direction, implementation, and the retirement of existing systems, operating with trust and autonomy.
