About The Position

This role is on CIBC’s Loan Operation team, a fast-paced back-office environment responsible for providing efficient operational support while maintaining compliance with internal controls and procedures within the functional area. This role will be accountable for providing professional and timely support to the UCC continuation process and related functions to ensure processing within 6 months of expiration and life of loan monitoring is in place. You will work closely with the UCC vendor and internal stakeholders (e.g. Banking Centers, LOB and Loan Closers) to support other UCC needs. In addition, this role will also be accountable for the review and research of various collateral reports across the teams related to monitoring and tracking the accuracy of collateral data for Stock, Insurance, Imaging, Vehicle Titles, Releasing etc. and/or other department projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with various lines of businesses and support staff on all aspects of servicing the loans from post-closing to paid in full.
  • Develop strong relationships with the line of businesses to build sustained confidence in order to improve the overall client experience.
  • Escalate to Collateral Manager all issues that may impact the ongoing processes.
  • Comfortable with phone conversations and phone etiquette.
  • System knowledge - navigate many varied systems and is technically savvy.
  • Product Knowledge - familiar with any CIBC products; bank accounts; credit cards; lending; investments; mortgages, etc.
  • Multi-tasking and working in fast-paced, often-changing environment.
