About The Position

This role is for a full-time Sr. Specialist in Lockbox processing, working Thursday through Monday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The position requires expert-level proficiency in core lockbox processing equipment, meeting department production targets, and maintaining accurate daily reporting. A key aspect of the role is ensuring exceptional accuracy in processing customer and bank deposits, identifying and addressing quality issues, and serving as a subject matter expert on Falcon, Eagle, and Opex 40 systems. Additionally, the role involves training new hires, supporting department growth, and advancing professional capabilities while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements. The work environment is onsite, fostering innovation, mentorship, and a collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • Regular and predictable attendance is a required essential function of the job.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year related experience (production or payment processing).
  • Ability to understand and follow standard procedures, oral or written instruction.
  • Six months of previous Payment Processor experience.
  • Standard office machine experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve or support complex clerical/department functions.
  • Personal computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in core lockbox processing equipment while meeting department production targets and maintaining accurate daily reporting.
  • Process all customer and bank deposits with exceptional accuracy, modeling best practices for the broader team.
  • Proactively identify and address quality issues, escalating patterns or concerns to the assigned Supervisor or Manager.
  • Serve as the department's subject matter expert on Falcon, Eagle, and Opex 40 systems, ensuring work keeps moving and all processing meets deadlines.
  • Monitor processing queues and proactively support the team in meeting deadlines.
  • Identify processing issues, equipment concerns, or workflow disruptions and escalate promptly to the assigned Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensure all assigned work is completed on time in accordance with department service standards.
  • Provide formal one-on-one training to new hires on core processing systems and procedures.
  • Ensure new hires understand processing standards, quality expectations, and escalation procedures.
  • Step in to support mentoring and cross-training functions when the Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Utilize and maintain current training materials to ensure consistency in instruction.
  • Advance professional capabilities while maintaining full compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Actively participate in Huddles, lead or contribute meaningfully to Problem Solving meetings, and submit Continuous Improvement tickets reflecting expert-level insight.
  • Take an active role in the development of new Key Performance Indicators and Tier 2 KPIs.
  • Update Skills Matrix quarterly with new competencies and growth goals.
  • Complete 8 hours of one selected activity: volunteer work, Workday course, department job shadowing, or blood drive participation.
  • Generate a minimum of 1 problem-solving ticket with documented process improvement savings.
  • Complete all assigned compliance courses by specified deadlines.
  • Create and present 1 problem/idea/enhancement at CI forum during year-end huddle.
