Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise IT applications, with automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing IT applications teams, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong technical expertise in enterprise IT applications, including experience working with APIs and designing or supporting system integrations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with enterprise IT business systems supporting Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management oversight to ensure the effective support, stability, and ongoing maintenance of Scout IT systems and platforms.
  • Partner with business domain leaders to understand objectives, requirements, and challenges; identify opportunities to leverage IT solutions that improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess available technology solutions, recommend optimal options, and align selections with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation efforts, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and successful deployment of IT applications.
  • Establish and manage processes for ongoing system support, maintenance, and upgrades to minimize downtime and ensure rapid issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, managing contracts, deliverables, budgets, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Define software strategies and develop product roadmaps to ensure long-term platform viability, scalability, and business continuity.
  • Manage the domain IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency, financial accountability, and optimal allocation of resources.
