About The Position

As the Senior Specialist, Employee Engagement and Wellness, you will be responsible for the overall communication of benefits and wellness programs, engagement initiatives with team members, and management of well-being programs. This role plays a critical part in shaping positive and engaging team member experiences. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across engagement strategy, communications, and wellbeing benefits, with the ability to translate business priorities into impactful people programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Communication, Business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, and/or wellbeing/benefits programs.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced, or global organizations preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and internet navigation.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Certification (CEBS, WLCP or CBP) highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop internal communication strategies to effectively communicate with team members about company benefit programs and well-being initiatives.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to execute communication strategies5
  • Coordinate communication efforts related to benefits, including PDS annual benefit open enrollment, monthly education and promotion campaigns.
  • Craft compelling content for various communication channels, keeping team members informed and engaged throughout the year.
  • Utilize data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze team member feedback and inquiries, programs engagement and utilization metrics, trends, and benchmarks across various benefit and well-being programs to identify opportunity areas
  • Partner with external and internal stakeholders to rethink and improve team member experiences across our benefit, leave and wellbeing portfolio
  • Assess and enhance well-being benefit offerings to ensure PDS’ programs are competitive, aligned with PDS Health’s objectives and team member needs.
  • Manage holistic wellness programs aimed at promoting physical, mental, and financial wellness among team members.
  • Drive awareness, participation, and engagement in well-being initiatives through targeted campaigns
  • Plan and coordinate well-being activities (e.g. webinars, challenges, etc.) that promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using data and employee feedback, making recommendations for improvement
  • Administer and manage vendor relationships for various work-life programs such as caregiving, sleep and mindfulness, maternal health, discount programs, etc.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure engagement, communication effectiveness, and well-being program impact
  • Prepare executive-level reports and insights to inform decision-making
  • Ensures compliance with all policies and standards, as well as state, federal and other regulatory bodies.
