About The Position

The Senior Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) compliance within Steam Operations. This role involves providing guidance and consultation to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, programs, and procedures, and to achieve operational EH&S work goals. The individual will oversee all EH&S matters, maintain required records as per legal and corporate standards, and initiate necessary changes to improve health and safety conditions. This position does not offer employment under a STEM OPT Training Plan.

Requirements

  • Subject matter expert (SME) as it relates to compliance with all the environmental, health, safety regulations, programs, and procedures within Steam Operations.
  • Provide guidance and consultation for the attainment and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety compliance and the achievement of operational EH&S work goals.
  • Oversee all matters pertaining to environment, health and safety and will ensure proper records are kept as required by law and corporate instruction.
  • Initiate needed changes to provide improved health and safety conditions.
