Sr Specialist, EH&S Project Support
About The Position
Con Edison is seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialist to drive the integration of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and sustainability best practices into capital projects across all utility and non-utility portfolios. This role is a critical partner to engineering and design teams, ensuring that projects are not only compliant and safe but also resilient, environmentally responsible, and aligned with our long-term sustainability goals. As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will influence decision-making from project initiation through design, embedding sustainability and risk mitigation into every phase of project development. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
Requirements
- Highly experienced Senior Specialist
- Experience in integrating Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and sustainability best practices into capital projects.
- Experience partnering with engineering and design teams.
- Subject matter expert in EH&S and sustainability.
- Experience influencing decision-making from project initiation through design.
- Experience embedding sustainability and risk mitigation into project development phases.
