Summary of the Job: Responsible for preparing and reviewing early disclosures and loan closing documents for Real Estate secured loans in accordance with FNBO credit policy and federal regulations. Assemble, prepare and verify closing documents during the completion of all applicable unsecured and secured loan applications. Support and maintain positive relationships with peers, lenders, personal bankers, vendors and business partners in support of loan processing functions. Collect, compile, identify and gather required loan documentation to satisfy closing requirements and set proper Earliest Closing Dates per regulations. Request title, appraisal, trust review and flood reviews on loan transactions per the credit decision. Collect loan documentation to support accurate balancing of the Settlement Statement. Prepare new disclosures as applicable according to final credit decision and calculate new hold times if needed. Ensure bankers are kept up to date on the status of their loans. Conduct pipeline review daily and take full accountability to see file to completion in a timely manner. About This Role: Build and review Consumer loan disclosures daily within 3 days of application. Build and review Consumer loan documents daily. Ensure documents comply with loan regulations and are prepared according to the conditions outlined in the credit decision or worksheet. Ensure pipeline is worked daily. Be proactive in handling the clearing of conditions to ensure a timely closing. Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Demonstrate independent decision-making, problem resolution skills and critical thinking skills. Understand and adhere to all bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years loan documentation, processing or closing experience preferred
  • Previous experience with Laser Pro system functionality preferred
  • Demonstrated effective planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time and adhere to deadlines
  • Previous work experience in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; typing proficiency
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
