As a Sr. Specialist Building Operations , you’re responsible for dock operations including communication to appropriate partners as well as performing and scheduling dock equipment maintenance of the headquarters properties as directed, including HVAC and lighting systems, door hardware, compactors, balers, dock levelers and the building management system. Responsibilities also include responding to work order requests by utilizing a robust work order system and teamwork on other special projects as directed. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in or the ability to learn the building maintenance field (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building systems).
  • Skilled in the operation of hand and power tools.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. Class D required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights of up to 25 feet.
  • Ability to learn PC skills especially associated with building management systems, life safety systems, and work order applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience is desired.
  • Shipping/Receiving experience, including documentation retention is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for dock operations including communication to appropriate partners.
