About The Position

Regeneron is seeking a Sr Sourcing Specialist to join its Global Procurement team and support business stakeholders across the organization. The position manages assigned categories end to end, from strategy development and sourcing plan execution through value optimization, in collaboration with key vendors and business leaders. It is an on-site role in Rensselaer, New York, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned categories end to end, from category strategy development through sourcing plan execution.
• Develop sourcing specifications, requirements, and scopes of work for strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Gather data and support spend analytics to deliver measurable cost savings and monitor savings against contracts.
• Build and sustain relationships with key category vendors and business stakeholders, driving continuous vendor improvement and performance accountability.
• Lead multiple projects within budget and on time, aligning with business leaders on their needs.
• Lead category supplier relationships and sourcing opportunities, including RFPs and negotiations.
• Manage contracts, agreements, and addendums to ensure valid contracts are in place and continuous value is realized.
• Own category spend savings targets while ensuring supplier quality and service support efficient business operations.
