Your industry knowledge and connectivity to our suppliers’ activities will help ensure compliance with responsible practices, and you’ll have key influence over which supplier partners Target chooses to work with. As a Senior Sourcing Manager in School/Office, you will work with multiple cross-functional teams including Target Merchants, Planners and Designers. You will be responsible for partnering with global sourcing and vendors to deliver high-quality, trend-right merchandise at a great value to our guests. You will drive sourcing strategy to support global balance, matrix optimization, and help Target achieve our financial plans.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant sourcing experience
- Strong communication, analytical and financial skills
- Effectively collaborate and influence across a broad group of partners, stakeholders and global team to achieve business results
- Respect, appreciate and value diverse voices and approaches
- Ability to prioritize competing deliverables and rapidly evolving business priorities
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- High tolerance for ambiguity
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
