About The Position

The Sr. Sourcing Manager will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver outstanding owned brand/private label products in a fast-growing category by leveraging proximity, innovation, and strategic vendor partnerships in our Western Hemisphere source base. You will demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, growth mindset, and innovation skills to advance our world-class sourcing and business partner strategies. You will play a role in the assessment and elevation of vendor and production capabilities; executing strategies that bolster the Western Hemisphere supply ecosystem. You will drive sourcing strategies that align to business goals and the critical needs of the relevant category, as well as utilize advanced negotiating skills to help Target achieve our value and financial plans. You will develop and manage a supplier matrix and production strategies that elevate performance, boost profit, drive speed to market and deliver on sustainability commitments.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant Pets. Consumables and/or Private Label sourcing & manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills including strategic thought and conceptual thinking
• Ability to work effectively with varying internal & external partners globally to achieve business results
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong analytical and financial skills to inform and influence decision-making
• Ability to prioritize among competing deliverables and collaborate with and influence a broad group of partners and stakeholders
• Ability to travel as needed
