In this role, you will define development strategy and vision, establish technical approaches, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative, scalable, and secure software solutions. In addition to managing projects and project tasks, you will be responsible for staff development, performance management, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in development technology. This role bridges technical execution with people leadership and strategic planning, playing a critical role in advancing enterprise software solution capabilities and team growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in computer science or related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or In lieu of education, 11 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages software engineering teams and strategic development projects.
  • Defines technical vision, development strategy, and architectural direction.
  • Oversees task planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
  • Recruits, mentors, and develops engineering talent through performance management and coaching.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborates with executive stakeholders to align software initiatives with organizational strategy.
  • Ensures delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing software systems.
  • Supports succession planning and team growth through structured development plans.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
