Behind McDonald's digital transformation is the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) team, a group of innovators leveraging cloud, platform architectures, and emerging technologies to create scalable business solutions. Within EPP, our Enterprise Service Management (ESM) team is committed to being a people-led, product-centric, and trusted technology partner. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Sr. Solutions Architect, ServiceNow to join our team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance solutions on the ServiceNow platform that drive business value across the organization. You will serve as the primary technical authority for designing solutions that leverage ServiceNow's capabilities, with a primary focus on core IT modules (ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, APM) as well as emerging AI technologies including Now Assist and our custom virtual assistant, Otto. You will design and guide the implementation of scalable Employee Workflows, ensuring our platform design scales seamlessly to support our global network of employees, franchises, and corporate functions.

Requirements

Design End-to-End Solutions: Architect comprehensive solutions on the ServiceNow platform that meet business requirements, focusing primarily on ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, and APM.
Drive AI Integration: Lead the architectural design for integrating AI capabilities, including Now Assist and our custom virtual assistant Otto, to enhance user experience and automate processes.
Champion Employee Workflows: Design and guide the implementation of scalable Employee Workflows to streamline services for HR, Workplace Services, and employee onboarding.
Ensure Technical Excellence: Maintain a high standard of technical quality by reviewing solution designs and providing mentorship to development teams on best practices.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with product managers, business analysts, and technical teams to translate requirements into robust and scalable technical designs.
Govern Platform Integrity: Ensure that all new solutions are designed in alignment with our 'Golden Instance' principles and platform governance standards.
Optimize Integration Pathing: Architect robust integrations utilizing IntegrationHub and secure REST/SOAP APIs to connect ServiceNow with external corporate platforms.
Document Solutions Architecture: Formulate and maintain detailed technical design documentation, architecture maps, and integration schemas.
