About The Position
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to join the AWS Product Acceleration program. This program focuses on helping AWS customers bring new ideas to market using modern cloud-native architectures and AI-powered solutions, providing them with the technical and business guidance needed for success. As a Solutions Architect, you will offer exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers, collaborating with a world-class sales and business development team. Your responsibilities will include creating architectural proposals, conducting deep dives, developing POC solutions, writing blog posts, leading workshops, promoting AI-Driven software product development, and problem-solving. You will also play a key role in capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community. The EdTech Solution Architecture team's mission is to be the premier technology enabler for EdTech ISVs, guiding them through their business and technology strategies and the use of AWS services to achieve their goals. Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Technical presentation experience – White board, small and large group presentations
- Technical – Cloud-hosted software development/deployment experience, cloud computing, AI/ML implementation, and GenAI solutions
- Operational – Cloud-hosted software operations, management, security, and AI governance
- Strong public speaking and writing skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- Hands-on, in-the-weeds experience designing and developing software solutions that leverage AI and GenAI capabilities
- Ability to travel 30%
