We're looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Android Architecture) to lead the design, development, and evolution of a cutting-edge Android platform powering next-generation connected systems. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll shape architecture, guide global engineering teams, and influence the future of scalable Android-based platforms built on AOSP.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering/architecture roles
• Strong Android / AOSP / Android SDK experience
• Proven experience leading engineering teams
• Strong system design and architectural thinking
• Ability to operate in complex, global environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture of Android-based platform services and SDKs
• Define scalable, modular, and future-proof system design patterns
• Drive development across Kotlin, Java, C/C++ and Python
• Collaborate with global engineering, product, UX, and hardware teams
• Guide CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices
• Ensure security, privacy, and performance standards are met
• Stay hands-on with code, reviews, and technical problem solving
• Lead a distributed engineering team and grow technical talent
