Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience designing and building distributed systems or microservices architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Nice To Haves

AI-enabled development: Experience or interest in using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to support software development
Backend development: Experience with .NET/C#
Frontend development: Experience with modern web technologies, such as JavaScript, and frameworks, like Angular.
APIs & integrations: Familiarity with RESTful services or web service integration
Databases: Experience working with relational or cloud-based databases, such as SQL Server
Cloud & infrastructure: Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
Healthcare technology: Familiarity with interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7
Containerization & orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing services
Messaging & event-driven architecture: Familiarity with message brokers such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
Migration & modernization: Experience upgrading legacy systems or migrating workloads to modern frameworks/runtimes (e.g., .NET upgrades)

Responsibilities

Lead the design of complex software development features and ensure solutions are scalable, effective, and maintainable.
Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with priorities and project goals.
Analyze and solve complex technical problems, identify bottlenecks, and prepare technical documentation to optimize system performance.
Facilitate code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and lead by example in code quality, development best practices, and problem-solving approaches.
Ensure code meets functional and performance requirements, and advocate for high-quality software and ensure rigorous testing processes, including automated unit tests, integration tests, and other testing frameworks.
Leverage AI tools and platforms as an integral part of daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes.
