We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field, plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a three or four-year degree.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using Object-Oriented Design and Kotlin or Java (3 years)
- Experience with Android Studio and Gradle (2 years).
- Experience with Jetpack libraries (3 years)
- Experience with REST API integration (3 years)
- Experience with Data storage and persistence technologies: Room, SQLite, SharedPreferences, and DataStore (2 years)
- Experience with Version control using Git (1 year)
- Experience with unit testing (Junit) and UI testing (Espresso) (2 years)
- Experience with debugging using Logcat and Android Profiler (3 years)
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance analytical tools and processes to improve data accessibility and usability.
- Design, develop, and deploy cross-functional technical solutions and integrations with other modules.
- Assess the impact and gaps in the current business processes for the payment systems modules and provide alternatives and recommendations on the delta design.
- Conduct Performance Tuning to optimize system performance, enhance data accessibility, and reduce downtime through code adjustments and RESTful APIs that improve communication between network applications.
- Analyze and design data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Monitor and periodically test system performance—identifying and documenting any performance bottlenecks, with proposed mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates on project status, potential risks, and timeline of deliverables to team leaders and business stakeholders.
- Work with the Application Architects to perform gap analyses and translate them into business requirements and functional design specifications.
- Document all implemented solutions, complete with the functional and technical specifications installed to ensure successful end-user support.
