About The Position

This role provides technical leadership to a team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the Ops Automation Platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Five (5) years of experience developing back-end software using Golang, Python, Gin, Go modules, pip, Go testing, and Pytest
• Five (5) years of experience working with AWS cloud platforms
• Five (5) years of experience monitoring and managing services using Prometheus and Grafana
• Five (5) years of experience writing SQL queries
• Five (5) years of experience managing database schemas, backup, and restoration in MySQL, AWS Aurora, and AWS DynamoDB
• Three (3) years of experience developing front-end software using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Vue.js, Redux, Vuex, Webpack, and Babel
• Three (3) years of experience performing container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Three (3) years of experience working with Cloud platforms including Azure and GCP
• Three (3) years of experience using Snowflake and Databricks
• Three (3) years of experience setting up, optimizing, and troubleshooting infrastructure-level data services using big data tools including Hadoop, Spark and Hive
• Three (3) years of experience designing and deploying infrastructure using IaC principles and tools, including Terraform, in cloud platforms
• Three (3) years of experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, and ArgoCD
• Three (3) years of experience managing large-scale clusters using Ansible, Salt, and Terraform

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end software using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Vue.js, Redux, Vuex, Webpack, and Babel
• Develop back-end software using Golang, Python, Gin, Go modules, pip, Go testing, and Pytest
• Perform container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Work with Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Use Snowflake and Databricks
• Set up, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure-level data services using big data tools including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Kafka
• Design and deploy infrastructure using IaC principles and tools, including Terraform, in cloud platforms
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, and ArgoCD
• Manage large-scale clusters using Ansible, Salt, and Terraform
• Monitor and manage services using Prometheus and Grafana
• Write SQL queries
• Manage database schemas, backup, and restoration in MySQL, AWS Aurora, and AWS DynamoDB
• Support applications under development and customize current applications
• Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases
• Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
• Document all development activity
• Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
• Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements
• Guide and mentor junior-level engineers
