About The Position

Enveda Therapeutics, Inc. (d/b/a/ Enveda) seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for data engineering and analytics workloads in Databricks and Azure. This role involves collaborating with data scientists, platform engineers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration between Databricks, data lakes, and other cloud services. The engineer will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Pulumi), and monitoring systems to support data platform operations. Key responsibilities include driving improvements in security, observability, and automation for Azure and Databricks clusters, jobs, and user environments, as well as mentoring junior engineers and contributing to infrastructure best practices, documentation, and internal tooling development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of related employment experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Python.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Administration of cloud services AWS and/or Azure.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, or cloud formation).
  • Five (5) years of experience with Databricks or equivalent distributed computing frameworks.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Data engineering pipelines, orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect), and workflow management.
  • Five (5) years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Five (5) years of experience with Monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana, DataDog, Prometheus, Cloudwatch).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for data engineering and analytics workloads in Databricks and Azure.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers, and DevOps to enable seamless integration between Databricks, data lakes, and other cloud services.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Pulumi) and monitoring systems to support data platform operations.
  • Drive improvements in security, observability, and automation for Azure and Databricks clusters, jobs, and user environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to infrastructure best practices, documentation, and internal tooling development.
