Sr. Software Engineer
About The Position
Design and develop software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized life sciences domain knowledge and developed business expertise in life sciences industry software development. Work at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development. Analyze and evaluate code issues and make decisions within general parameters under broad supervision. Lead projects and programs within own organization with moderate complexity and scope. Focus on software quality standards for all aspects of work. Establish advanced software test standards and methods and conduct complex software tests. Perform code reviews and optimization of existing queries. May assist in on-boarding new Software Engineers to the team.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field or foreign equivalent.
- If Master’s: one (1) year of software development experience.
- If Bachelor’s: three (3) years of software development experience.
- Working with teams on software design and development projects.
- Utilizing AWS and Azure Cloud (one year if Master's or Bachelor's).
- Python programming (one year if Master's or Bachelor's).
- Building CI & CD tools like GitLab or Terraform (one year if Master's or Bachelor's).
- Utilizing knowledge in life sciences domain to design and develop software applications (one year if Master's or Bachelor's).
