As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Bridge the gap between state-of-the-art research and customer-facing features. Drive systems-level innovation across models, infrastructure, and deployment. Champion Responsible AI principles (fairness, safety, privacy, reliability) in every system. Build and ship production AI systems (LLM orchestration, copilot agents, intelligent workflows). Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer data models OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Deep technical understanding of large software systems, platform engineering, or developer tools.
  • Track record of building and evolving customer feedback programs at scale.
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts for workflow automation.
  • Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with large-scale systems and API design.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable microservices using event-driven, CQRS, and service mesh patterns.
  • Deliver high-throughput APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) with resilience patterns like circuit breakers and bulkhead isolation.
  • Own the full service lifecycle from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), on-call response, and SLA-driven reliability (99.9%+).
  • Design data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and at-scale serving.
  • Build multi-tenant platform primitives with throttling, isolation, and resource governance.
  • Profile and optimize services for latency, throughput, and cost; model capacity for enterprise workloads.
  • Architect auto-scaling, load management, and layered caching strategies (distributed, CDN, write-behind).
  • Partner with AI/ML, PM, and front-end teams to shape integrated product and architecture decisions.
  • Drive design/code reviews and communicate technical trade-offs as a senior engineering voice.
