About The Position

Total Wine & More is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Mobile Engineering) to join our Retail Services & Systems team. This role will leverage in-depth React Native or React experience to build performant, scalable, and reusable components. You will work closely with product owners, UX designers, and other engineers to translate designs into actionable technical requirements and clean, functional code. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-value business and technology initiatives, contributing to improving existing functionality, and enhancing the end-user experience. You will write performant, maintainable, and testable code using prescribed architecture and frameworks, and develop/update shared component libraries. A mobile-first mentality is key to translating functional requirements into efficient, user-friendly applications. Responsibilities also include monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting the resolution of production issues. Occasional travel to HQ for meetings may be required (not exceeding 60 days/year or 5 days/trip).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, or related field.
5 years of related experience in React and Mobile development.
5 years of experience in production software development using Javascript ES6, HTML 5, CSS 3.
3 years of experience in a strongly typed language.
3 years of experience with Jira or Rally agile development tools.
3 years of experience with code reviews, documentation, and version control.

Responsibilities
