Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Kubernetes)

The Sr. Infrastructure Software Engineer- Kubernetes (K8S) role at TigerGraph, Inc. is an opportunity to join their world-class core engineering team and contribute to the design and delivery of the world's fastest distributed graph database and analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building distributed technology platforms and tools to solve complex real-life business problems. The main responsibilities of this role include designing and developing cloud-native solutions for deploying and managing TigerGraph, building an elastic infrastructure to scale-out/scale-in TigerGraph cluster on-demand, and building services to provide observability into the TigerGraph cluster. Additionally, having experience with container technologies, Kubernetes, Kafka, gRPC, and Linux is a plus.

• Design and develop cloud-native solutions for deploying and managing TigerGraph
• Build an elastic infrastructure to scale-out/scale-in TigerGraph cluster on-demand
• Build services to provide observability into TigerGraph cluster

• MS or PHD in Computer Science or Related Field
• 5+ years of experience
• Hands on experience with container technologies (Docker) and Container Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes)
• Hands on experience in developing Kubernetes operators
• Familiar with Kafka or similar messaging framework
• Familiar with gRPC
• Familiar with Zookeeper / ETCD / Consul or similar tools
• Familiar with Linux and shell
• Excellent problem-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Good stress resistance
