Software Engineer, Infrastructure

TigerGraph is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Kubernetes Operator Developer. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the Kubernetes Operator to deploy and manage TigerGraph. They will also work on the observability aspects of the TigerGraph cluster and the Kubernetes Operator, providing scalable and fault-tolerant designs to scale TigerGraph clusters in Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and at least three years of development experience in related fields. Additionally, familiarity with programming languages such as Golang, messaging frameworks like Kafka, and tools like Zookeeper, ETCD, Consul, Linux, and shell will be considered a bonus.

• Design and develop Kubernetes Operator to deploy and manage TigerGraph
• Work on observability aspects of TigerGraph cluster and the Kubernetes Operator
• Provide scalable and fault-tolerant design to scale TigerGraph clusters in Kubernetes

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes preferred
• At least three years of development experience in related fields
• Solid programming skills, familiarity with Golang, or any other major programming languages
• Familiar with Kafka or similar messaging framework
• Familiar with gRPC
• Familiar with Zookeeper / ETCD / Consul or similar tools
