About The Position

CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, protecting modern organizations with an AI-native platform. The company processes trillions of events daily and is driven by a mission to stop breaches. CrowdStrikers are encouraged to drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy, contributing to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. The Cloud Detection Engine (CDE) team is developing a next-generation platform to empower security teams by enabling the creation and management of advanced, unified detections and content across multiple Falcon products. This platform is a strategic imperative for CrowdStrike, aiming to provide a competitive advantage and unparalleled detection and response capabilities. The team builds real-time data systems for CrowdStrike's detection pipeline, including a streaming engine that processes sensor telemetry and a distributed correlation engine that evaluates trillions of events daily to identify multi-stage attacks. The role involves working with systems programming, custom query languages, graph databases, state machines, and performance optimization where microseconds matter. The team ships fast, uses modern tooling including AI in their development workflow, and owns projects end-to-end. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at the posted location.
