Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle
  • 3 years of experience with embedded software development
  • 3 years of experience in C++ or C

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Rust is a plus
  • Experience with Linux development environments
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Experience with multithreading
  • Experience with networking and communications protocols
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

  • design and develop cutting-edge embedded software, networking and communication products
  • lead efforts in complex, multi-threaded embedded software in C++ and Rust
  • leverage containerization to streamline software development
  • drive project success by directly contributing to requirements, implementation, test development, and certification
