Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field of study and Four (4) years of experience in the job offered, as a Backend Programmer, Frontend Programmer or a related occupation.
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as a Backend Programmer, Frontend Programmer or a related occupation in lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree in and Four (4) years of experience.
  • Experience must include 2 years in the following skills: Back-end web development; Development SQL database software; Ruby on Rails; VueJS; MSSQL; PostgreSQL; Git; Sidekiq; Docker; RSpec.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecting, development, and deployment for internal-facing web-based applications and data access points to provide a wide array of services supporting strategic US Oncology Network goals.
  • Understand core operations and functionality of a strategic data and analytics team and combine that with best practices around securing PHI and other sensitive data on public cloud infrastructure to provide an internal service and connection points to other interfaces.
  • Engineer and implement internal facing applications for managing team data, models, and operations by analyzing functional or technical requirements.
  • Integrate with multiple data assets and the data and analytics platform to make content available following best practices and strict PHI requirements.
  • Integrate with security frameworks, content management databases, and other internal McKesson systems.
  • Be a technical and innovation leader to drive change in how data and analytics are used to meet business objectives by using technical and industry knowledge.
  • Establish strong working relationships with senior management and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and prioritize work streams for the platform and data access strategic roadmap.
  • Lead deployment schedule and communications for the webbased application and analytics platform.
  • Proactively and independently learns and utilizes new technology, concepts and procedures as appropriate to project requirements.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry technology trends.
