Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
  • Strong programming experience in Python or Go.
  • Deep understanding of Linux systems and distributed systems architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including MS Azure and Private Cloud.
  • Experience defining and maintaining SLOs and error budgets.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of databases and messaging systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS).
  • Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation platforms supporting self-healing and auto-remediation frameworks.
  • Develop backend services and automation tools primarily in Python and Go.
  • Build and maintain monitoring using Monitoring-as-a-Code practices.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
