We are looking for an Sr. Site EHS Specialist to help build and sustain a workplace where every team member goes home safe. In this role, you'll be a hands-on champion for environmental, health, and safety excellence across our operations. You'll conduct facility audits and compliance assessments, develop and implement site-specific EHS programs, and maintain the tracking systems and performance scorecards that keep our leadership informed and our operations on track. From managing OSHA 300 logs and hazardous material inventories to supporting third-party certifications like ISO, VPP, and PSM, your work will touch every corner of the site. You'll also play a meaningful role in prevention and continuous improvement — participating in root cause analyses, monitoring corrective actions, and contributing to Management of Change reviews and Pre-Start Safety Reviews. You'll develop and deliver training programs that educate and empower team members at all levels, and you'll collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to drive consistent, compliant outcomes. When contractors are on site, you'll be there too — inspecting activities and ensuring standards are met. We're looking for someone who brings strong technical EHS knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence. Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of EHS experience or comparable military experience; OR Bachelor of Science plus 4 years of EHS experience or 2 years of OMDP/TMDP experience with 2 years of EHS experience or comparable military experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire.
  • Skilled in developing clear written communications, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ability to present information effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to source, read, understand, and interpret EHS regulations as published by government agencies.
  • Required to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Required to be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree (Accredited EHS Program) in Occupational Safety and Health plus 2 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possession of EHS related certifications (Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), Certified Hazardous Materials Manger (CHMM)).
  • Experience working with mid-level management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Skilled in applying advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
  • Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
