The Senior Setup Technician tests, analyzes, and adjusts electro-mechanical devices such as timers, mechanical/solid state relays, solenoid valves, and electrically activated regulators. This role involves providing training to new employees, collaborating with management on complex technical problems, performing calibration, modifying equipment, troubleshooting machinery and control systems, and testing performance of integrated systems. The technician will use electrical meters and hand/power tools for fabrication and repair, assemble and test electrical components, and assist with preventive maintenance. Responsibilities also include understanding and troubleshooting low and high voltage electrical circuits, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, PLC, and servo motors. Travel to other facilities and vendors may be required. The role also emphasizes safety compliance, product safety, quality, and good housekeeping practices.
