About The Position

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operational workflows. Collaborating closely with stake holders, you will translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation in the organization’s use of ServiceNow. While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st. Local Atlanta Candidates Only

Requirements

ServiceNow platform expertise (development, configuration, integration).
JavaScript and scripting knowledge.
API integration (REST/SOAP web services).
ITSM and ITOM process optimization.
ITSM, CSM, HAM experience
Agile/Scrum project delivery.
Technical documentation and system design.
Troubleshooting and analytical thinking.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions.
Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.
