Working as part of the People (HR) Product Team, you will translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions, partnering with HR, IT, and integration teams to streamline HR workflows and data flow between ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise systems.

Requirements

  • 3 plus years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong hands‑on experience configuring and developing in ServiceNow HRSD (cases, HR services, lifecycle events, knowledge, and dashboards).
  • Experience building and maintaining Employee Center Pro portals, including catalog items, topic taxonomy, and page configuration in UI Builder.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow development tools: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, and data imports/transform maps.
  • Practical experience designing and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and Workday or other HR/enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub spokes.
  • Understanding of data models for HR (worker, position, job changes) and how they flow between systems to support lifecycle events and accurate case data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot integration failures, monitor data quality, and work with integration and security teams to resolve issues.
  • Experience working in an agile product team, collaborating with HR, IT, and business SMEs to refine user stories and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to design user‑centric portal experiences that prioritize clarity, speed to resolution, and intuitive navigation for employees and HR agents.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical options, constraints, and trade‑offs in business‑friendly language and to document designs and configurations clearly.
  • Experience with testing practices (unit testing, UAT support, and ideally Automated Test Framework) and change management processes in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with platform governance: development standards, reusability, security, and role‑based access controls in ServiceNow.
  • A continuous‑improvement mindset focused on optimizing HR processes, leveraging new platform features each release, and using feedback/analytics to guide enhancements.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years focused on HRSD or HR workflows is HIGHLY preferred.
  • Experience in a global or complex HR environment; ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, HRSD) and Workday or HR tech experience are highly preferred.

  • Design and implement high‑quality configurations and scripts (e.g., business rules, Flow Designer flows, UI policies, client scripts) that support performant and maintainable HR workflows.
  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and use tools such as Automated Test Framework (ATF) where appropriate to ensure stable, regression‑safe releases.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, integrations, and run‑books to support ongoing operations, auditing, and knowledge sharing across the product team.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, defects, and performance issues related to HRSD, Employee Center Pro, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to HR and employee operations.
  • Build, enhance, and support integrations between ServiceNow and Workday (and other HR/enterprise systems) using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration patterns to enable accurate, timely data exchange.
  • Partner with integration and data teams to design secure, resilient integration architectures that support HR lifecycle events, data synchronization, and downstream reporting needs.
