About The Position

The Sr. Scientist Translational Proteomics develops proteomics technologies, validates protocols, and analyzes data for biomarker research. The role operates LC-MS instruments, collaborates across teams, and ensures compliance with scientific regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and early drug development phases of the drug development process
Comprehensive understanding of current principles and concepts within the role-specific field
Familiarity with regulations and compliance systems related to scientific work
Broad understanding of R&D disciplines
Awareness of patent and intellectual property issues
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in a related field
Advanced knowledge in the subject area
Advanced degree within the field and/or professional certification
Well-developed understanding of drug metabolism processes and pharmacokinetics
Well-developed understanding of the creation of biosignatures and biomarker analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop MS-based proteomics technologies for clinical biomarker studies to ensure robust translational research.
Validate and implement protocols for processing clinical samples, including tissue and plasma, following SOPs.
Generate and maintain PRM and DIA data to support clinical studies and collaborate with bioinformatics teams to confirm biomarker clinical utilities.
Operate LC-MS instruments, apply strict QC measures, conduct routine maintenance, and adopt new technologies to enhance protocols.
Analyze data, summarize outcomes, and present findings at functional and project reviews to streamline decision-making processes.
