We are searching for the best talent for Sr. Scientist Onc position. The Sr. Scientist will join a drug discovery team developing transformative therapies for the treatment of prostate cancer. They will make key contributions, both in the lab and strategically, that drive the advancement of multiple preclinical projects. The position requires strong communication and effective collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • An M.S. with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience or a B.S. with at least 15 years of relevant industry experience, performing progressively advanced duties at the Scientist level, or the equivalent training/experience.
  • Proficient in multiple cell and molecular biology assays including: flow cytometry, Western blot, RT-PCR, MSD/ELISA, immunofluorescence and cytotoxicity/proliferation (CellTiter-Glo and Incucyte based) assays.
  • Experienced in basic and advanced tissue culture models such as patient-derived organoids, spheroids, and immune cells.
  • Analysis of ex vivo patient samples by flow cytometry and other techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate in cross-functional team environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively present scientific data and concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Prostate Cancer research and/or drug development.
  • Experienced in the generation of overexpressing (lipid transfection and lentiviral transduction) and knockout (CRISPR Cas9) cell lines.
  • Familiarity with FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, Mosaic, Genedata Biologics and Revvity Signals Electronic Notebook.
  • Demonstration of creativity and novel approaches to solving scientific problems.

Responsibilities

  • Independently design and execute cellular and molecular in vitro pharmacology experiments; analyze the data and present your results at project team and governance meetings.
  • Develop novel assays and in vitro models supporting therapeutic development projects and the Prostate Discovery team.
  • Support the generation of comprehensive and well-designed pre-clinical data packages in support of various programs, including for IND readiness for First-In-Human (FIH) studies.
  • Identify novel prostate cancer targets utilizing LLM AI, -omics datasets, and the academic literature.
