About The Position

The Sr. Scientist, Assay Development Services supports Pharma/Biotech customers in drug discovery by developing Promega-enabled assays and cell lines. The work spans areas including target engagement, protein-protein interaction, metabolism, targeted protein degradation, cell health, and immunoassays. The scientist serves as a technical expert across multiple areas, applies scientific leadership and project-management skills, and troubleshoots projects from design through delivery. The role involves hands-on experimental work, assay miniaturization and validation for high-throughput screening, client communication, and collaboration with program managers, sales, and other business leaders. The scientist also uses emerging technologies, including AI and advanced digital tools, to support experimental design, assay optimization, data analysis, and decision-making. The position is part of Tailored Research and Development Solutions (TRS), a collaborative team that works closely with R&D to support Promega clients.
