About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support a critical SAP finance initiative within a highly regulated environment. This role will partner with finance and IT teams to deliver configuration, enhancements, and support across core financial processes.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO functional experience
Strong configuration experience in GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting
Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Finance
At least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes
Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
U.S. Citizenship required
Experience working in ITAR-controlled environments
Ability to comply with export control regulations

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations
Exposure to defense, aerospace, or regulated industries
Experience with financial reporting tools (Fiori, SAC, BW)
Background supporting audit or compliance-driven environments
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
Ability to lead requirements sessions and workshops
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Able to operate independently in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

Lead SAP FICO configuration, enhancement, and support activities
Work directly with business stakeholders to gather and translate financial requirements
Configure and support: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Support financial close processes (month-end/year-end)
Develop functional specs and collaborate with ABAP teams on RICEFW objects
Ensure integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules
Participate in testing, data validation, and user support
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution
