About The Position

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, self-directed developer with strong Salesforce Apex, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, SOQL, .NET, SQL, and full-stack web development experience. This is a 12-month contract position (W2) located in Hartford, CT, requiring a hybrid work model and preference for local candidates.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall professional IT/development experience.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience coding Salesforce Apex using OOP principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development and design patterns.
  • Experience with Salesforce Apex

  • Experience with Visualforce

  • Experience with CRUD

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support custom Salesforce applications.
  • Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Pages, and Visualforce Pages.
  • Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements verification, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support.
  • Analyze requirements and provide technical solutions for application integration.
  • Support development and ongoing maintenance of the CT-KIND system.
  • Work with the System Integrator to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure long-term maintainability of assigned modules.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Work with agency stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Drive assigned work from requirements through implementation.
  • Mentor less-experienced technical staff and share knowledge with the development team.
  • Support application integration and end-to-end web development activities.
