About The Position

We are looking to add a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join our Information Technology team in West Des Moines, IA. Basic Function: The purpose of this position is to take the lead in configuring, optimizing, and managing the Salesforce platform to deliver advanced functionality, drive business innovation, and enhance user experience for our employees and customers. The Sr. Salesforce Administrator will possess expert knowledge of business processes and Salesforce capabilities and is a hands-on “Admineloper” responsible for developing strategic solutions that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven extensive experience working on the Salesforce platform, including expert-level configuration, integration, and optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), with the ability to build and modify lightweight solutions as needed.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex instructions and scenarios with multiple variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and deliver multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
  • Must be knowledgeable of and comply with HMA's Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations, and E&O procedures and policies.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels and driving organizational change.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement within an organization.
  • Ability and willingness to consistently participate in internal and external educational opportunities to enhance knowledge of current insurance topics or relevant system improvements.
  • Ability and willingness to pursue relevant designations and/or continuing education, as appropriate.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required;
  • 6+ years of experience working on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on leading and managing advanced configurations and integrations, including Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required

Nice To Haves

  • additional certifications such as Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) complex page layouts, lightning pages, record types, approval processes, apps, flow, and custom objects.
  • Deliver Apex classes/triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Web Component (LWC) solutions only for needs that can’t be delivered through declarative configuration.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that provide exceptional user experience.
  • Oversee and support enterprise custom applications, ensuring their seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform regular system audits, prepare for upgrades, and manage Salesforce releases.
  • Stay knowledgeable of new Salesforce features, functionality, and industry trends, and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce trends, features, and functionality to provide visionary recommendations for process improvements and organizational growth.
  • Mentor and provide expert guidance to junior Salesforce Administrators, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting and technical support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Salesforce adoption and maximize return on investment.
  • Conduct regular system audits, prepare for upgrades, and manage Salesforce releases.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as requested.
