About The Position

CME Group seeks a Client Development and Sales (CD&S) Associate with an enthusiasm for financial markets, a high level of attention to detail, and a passion for client interaction and outreach. CD&S Associates assist in increasing revenues for CME Group Products from new & existing clients across targeted client segments & regions, in this case Americas Commercials and Buy Side. Responsibilities include monitoring & reporting client activity levels from our existing customer base, creating analysis & reports that facilitate clients' understanding & use of CMEG's products. They support the development & implementation of the segment specific sales & marketing strategies. They carry responsibilities for sales tracking, communicating & coordinating CD&S segment efforts with internal/external client stakeholders. They are responsible for directly reaching out to target accounts to better assess opportunities. The pay range for this role is $89,300-$148,900. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant). Requirements

  • Well written and spoken
  • Comfort presenting data and sales pitches in a professional environment
  • Proficient with Google applications

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Knowledge of AI tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Accompanies senior sales staff on sales calls.
  • Acts as lead on smaller client relationships.
  • Diligently follows up on sales leads to assess opportunities.
  • Prepares presentations, tools, and materials to support sales efforts.
  • Researches, analyzes, and compiles segment, market trend, and client intelligence data to improve sales prospecting and decision-making, and support new business opportunities.
  • Serves as backup to senior sales staff in handling client issues.
  • Understands mechanics of CRM systems and navigates effectively to input and export data.
  • Leverages Info Source and other data sources to track, analyze, and report performance against key metrics and activities.
  • Works with resources across the enterprise to assist in resolving support issues.
