About The Position

As a Sr. Safety Technician, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening our safety culture across the organization. You will spend time both in the field and in our manufacturing environment, working directly with employees and leaders to identify risks and address safety concerns. This role includes travel, typically about one week per month. This is a hands on, collaborative role. You will be involved in safety observations, training, onboarding, and compliance while helping ensure we meet OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements. Just as important, you will help create an environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up and taking ownership of safety. If you enjoy being out on the floor, connecting with people, traveling to support teams, and making a real impact, this is a great opportunity to grow and make a difference.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Confidence leading safety conversations and building strong relationships with employees at all levels

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards such as OSHA, DOT, EPA, and DNR
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging safety training and onboarding that resonates with employees

  • Comfortable conducting safety observations, PPE inspections, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Willingness to travel and support teams across multiple locations
