SAIF’s vision is to make Oregon the safest and healthiest place to work, and our safety management consultants play a key role in bringing that vision to life. If this resonates with you, we encourage you to apply for an exciting opportunity to join our team. Our consultants deliver safety and health services across industries, using curiosity, strategic thinking, collaboration, and data-informed insights to identify risk and drive continuous improvement. They build strong partnerships with policyholders by developing a clear understanding of their values and capacities through humble inquiry. Close collaboration with internal and external business partners such as safety specialists, return-to-work consultants, senior account representatives, underwriters, and agents is also key to success. This role emphasizes in-person, on-site engagement to strengthen relationships, deepen operational understanding, and support practical prevention strategies. These strategies include leadership development, strengthening safety culture, improving policies and procedures, implementing engineering controls, providing training, and more. To be successful in this role, you will need to bring self-motivation, curiosity, organization, and a strong foundation in occupational safety and health. You will also need the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and gain commitment to preventing workplace injuries and illnesses. Note: Field employees are required to travel to SAIF’s offices in Portland, Oregon and to customer locations.
