We are seeking a Sr. Research Project Manager. The Sr. Research Project Manager works in collaboration with PI(s) to set the direction for multiple research projects within a large program. Plans and directs the conduct of research operations which typically involves multiple projects, external partners, internal collaborators and/or national and international networks. Develops project plans, develops SOPs, and oversees all research activities. Responsible for managing research staff, developing and implementing effective data management and regulatory procedures, providing education to research staff and ensuring research staff are properly trained. In addition to the duties described above, the role involves managing day-to-day operations of the Surgical Learning Innovation Center of Excellence (SLICE) in collaboration with the lead PI. This includes management of educational curriculum for residents and educational courses for internal and external collaborators. It also encompasses management of the SLICE production unit, including 3D printing of models, project management for timely delivery, and coordination of project deadlines. The role requires coordination with external vendors, participants, and internal Department leadership, as well as with the development team to support fundraising activities for SLICE and the Department of Urology.
