We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and caring nurse to serve as a Sr. Research Nurse and to work collaboratively with the PI on a statewide initiative R3: Resilience, Renewal and Retention of Maryland Nurses. The position will be an integral member of the project team and will contribute to the development, assessment and evaluation, refinement, and implementation of R3 content and programs. The Senior Research Nurse will collaborate with a wide variety of JHSON faculty and staff as well as contribute to the community outreach and engagement strategy over the course of the project. The Sr. Research Nurse must be highly proactive and demonstrate the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize effectively, take an energetic approach to work assignments and take initiative in anticipating the needs of the PI and other team members. This position requires the ability to take a creative approach to environmental scanning, identifying the needs of the target population, setting of strategic goals and objectives, problem solving, and taking action to meet those goals and objectives. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate, communicate effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, exercise good judgement, be detailed oriented, and be proactive meeting expectations. As a professional representative of R3 initiatives and other projects, the candidate must be committed to responsiveness, customer service, excellence, and teamwork. The Sr. Research Nurse will deal regularly with sensitive, privileged, and confidential subject matter and maintain high standards of confidentiality. Core responsibilities will include execution and continuous evaluation and improvement of the planned activities including information management and sharing; oversight and coordination of the project’s educational and research endeavors; ensuring execution of day-to-day operations; budget and communication. The Senior Research Nurse will receive initial program training and support from the program team and will foster a trusting alliance with the program team members, program participants, and other stakeholders. The modified hybrid position will be located on the East Baltimore campus.
