About The Position

Working independently and following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, the Sr. Research Coordinator provides assistance on clinical research studies. The role includes recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs; and maintaining and updating study data. The coordinator also contributes to decisions about subject suitability, recruitment strategy, research methodology, statistical analyses, protocol design, and manuscript writing. Patient care is not required for this position.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field required; experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Three to five years of related post-bachelor's degree research experience required.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
High degree of computer literacy and analytical skills.
Ability to identify technical and non-technical problems and develop solutions.
Ability to interpret the acceptability of data results.
Highly proficient data management skills and working knowledge of data management systems.
Ability to show initiative in introducing innovations to research studies.
Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
