Bank of America’s Middle Market Banking team is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join our Metro, NY team. This is a unique opportunity to join our franchise at a time of strong momentum and growth. This role offers the opportunity to partner with leadership teams of dynamic public and private companies with revenues of $50 million to $2 billion in annual revenue. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver sophisticated financial solutions, deepen long‑term client relationships, and help drive sustainable growth for some of the region’s most complex and influential middle market organizations.

Requirements

10+ years’ experience in broad based commercial lending/corporate finance/relationship management experience.
Existing knowledge of the market required.
Demonstrates ability to successfully manage an extensive portfolio of clients.
Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and closing profitable transactions.
Professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution and follow up of client meetings.
Strong corporate finance, capital markets and accounting acumen.
Financial modeling experience and the completion of a formal credit training is required.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
Must obtain SIE, series 7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Providing advice and valuable financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects.
Serving as the primary point of contact or trusted advisor.
Acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable relationships.
Collaborating with teammates.
Facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists.
Identifying cross-selling opportunities and increasing overall client satisfaction.
Successfully managing an extensive portfolio of middle market clients with revenues greater than $50 million.
Acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
Understanding and interpreting financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
Collaborating with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management and facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services in order to design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects.
Leading and facilitating dialogue with a variety of complex clients and prospects regarding topics such as the client and prospect industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
Coaching and mentoring peers, while utilizing leadership skills.
Adapting to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed.
