Primary Function of Position As the Sr. Recruiter, you will play a key role in supporting Intuitive’s expansion into a new site location in Malaysia, helping to build talent pipelines and establish a high-performing workforce from the ground up. You will partner closely with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders to attract and hire top talent across manufacturing, operations, corporate functions, and leadership roles. The role will initially be remote, supporting site development and early-stage hiring efforts, with the expectation of transitioning to a hybrid work model as the new location becomes operational. As a critical driver of Intuitive’s continued growth and success in the medical robotics field, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, strategic talent acquisition planning, and workforce scaling initiatives to support both current and future hiring needs across Malaysia.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of end to end recruiting experience, that includes manufacturing, support and and leadership roles in Malaysia.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with full lifecycle sourcing and recruiting for technical openings.
  • Good working knowledge of systems and tools including electronic applicant tracking, database data management, and MS Office Suite.
  • A partnering, collaborative, communicative, continuous improvement perspective to be applied to cross functional.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead recruiter supporting the establishment and growth of Intuitive’s new Malaysia site, partnering closely with business leaders, HR, Finance, and hiring managers to execute workforce expansion plans.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for Manufacturing, Operations, Corporate, and Senior/Executive-level positions, ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor by providing recruiting expertise, market intelligence, talent availability insights, and hiring best practices to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-caliber talent through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, industry partnerships, and other recruiting channels.
  • Build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, identifying and engaging both active and passive candidates.
  • Leverage recruiting data, market trends, and talent insights to inform hiring strategies, drive decision-making, and improve recruiting outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity and compliance documentation within the applicant tracking system and ensure adherence to company policies and reporting requirements.
  • Partner across Talent Acquisition and broader People teams to implement scalable recruiting processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the successful launch and growth of the new location.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive recruiting culture through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
